Truly Scandinavian modern freestanding wall unit in teak is a 2-bay modular shelving system Ergo designed by John Texmon and Einar Blindheim for Blindheim Mobelfabrikk and made in Norway in the 1960s. The slightly curved edges make a warm impression, and the sculptural rails create an elegant and grand-looking statement. Three cabinets, including one open cabinet with compartments, ideal for vinyl records, and 3 shelves provide just enough storage space.

The wall unit has been checked by our team and since it is in almost perfect condition we have only rejuvenated the wood with Danish oil. We leave minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm its originality. Our goal is to restore the furniture to its best condition, considering they are 60 years.

Overall, excellent vintage condition with only very few signs of age-related wear with a lovely patina and oiled finish to nourish and enhance the wood grain.
