A stunning set of five high dining chairs designed by Henning Kjaernulf in the 1960s for EG Kvalitetsmöbel. The manufacturer’s symbol “FS” is imprinted on the frames. The slightly curved backrests are razorblade-shaped and are an uncommon design feature. These dining chairs have three “blades” elongating the back, which makes them quite rare. The style and shape of the carved legs and frame recall an almost Baroque design paired with Scandinavian modernism making an outstanding yet impressive combination. New dark blue upholstery made from a natural cotton fabric emphasizes the beauty of the oak grain, adding a modernistic touch.
