Description
This Italian modular mid-century wall unit from the 1960s was designed to be both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional. Completely double-sided, can serve as a decorative and practical room divider, allowing you to organize your space with elegance.
The structure is made of solid wood with teak veneer, valued for its durability, longevity, and unique warm color. The addition of black varnished metal legs and adjustable brass feet ensures stability on uneven floors. Magnificent carpentry, visible in the handles carved from solid wood, further adorns this piece and confirms the high quality of craftsmanship.
The genius of its design lies in its versatility—the shelves and cabinets are movable, allowing them to be adjusted in increments of 8 cm. Since the back is also veneered in teak, the cabinets can face both directions. When used as a room divider, the unit provides easy access to the cabinets from both sides. The arrangement is fully flexible, with the current layout serving only as an example.
The wall unit includes:
2 cabinets: H: 55 / W: 74.5 / D: 39 cm
1 cabinet: H: 42 / W: 74.5 / D: 31 cm
2 shelves: W: 74.5 / D: 31.5 cm
3 side panels
Despite the passage of time, the wall unit remains in excellent original condition with only minimal signs of use related to age. The wood has been cleaned and preserved with professional compounds and metal and brass elements have been refreshed.
