Danish mid century renovated teak modular shelving unit in the style of Poul Cadovius

Description

Impressive modular teak shelving unit, made some time in the 1970s in the style of Poul Cadovius. It has been fully renovated. This set is an entirely modular shelving system with eighteen shelves veneered in teak, hanging on solid wood rails with solid brass hangers. The wall unit can be arranged upon one’s will. The shelves can be placed higher or lower, using an easy mounting system of regular slots all along the rail.

This set consists of:

18 shelves W: 80/D: 20 cm
brass hardware
4 wooden rails 200 cm long
The set has been entirely renovated. Most of the shelves’ edges have a new veneer and also on some most worn off shlevs have also have new veneer. The wood has been sanded down and stained to the uniform look. The surface has been finished with layers of Danish oil. The brass hardware has been polished and old brass bent brass screws have been exchanged for new ones.
