This vintage bookcase is a good example of Italian modernist design from the 1970s.. Designed as a modular room divider or wall unit, it beautifully balances minimalism with industrial sophistication. The black varnished steel frame gives a sculptural quality to the piece, while the warm teak wood shelves add a natural contrast.

The shelves are adjustable and one can set them up in many positions.

8 wooden shelves, each 30 x 70 cm
3 vertical rails, each 221 cm high, in black powder-coated steel with modular notching
The unit is in excellent vintage condition, the metal frames has been repinted and the wood has been rejuvenated with special compounds. There are only very minor, age-appropriate wear that highlights its authenticity and character.
