Poul Cadovius Shelving unit in teak for Cado, Denmark 1960s

An impressive and rare Poul Cadovius shelving unit made by his company Cado in the 1960s. It is ideal for book lovers and will enrich any living room or bedroom with a mid-century modern touch. This set is an entirely modular shelving system with eighteen shelves, including one deeper – 30 cm. It is a rare wall uit with each section 70 cm wide, while most of Cadovius’s systems have been based on 80cm width.

The wall unit can be arranged upon one’s will. The shelves can be placed higher or lower using a very easy mounting system of regular slots all along the rail.

The original manufacturer engraving ”made in Denmark” on shelves and rails confirms its origin.

black varnished metal hardware
4 wooden rails 175 cm long
Our team has checked the wall unit thoroughly. All components fit together. We have rejuvenated the wood with Danish oil and other professional compounds.
