Description
This charming Scandinavian dressing table was produced in the 1960s. It was most likely designed by Fredrik Kayser who was cooperating with Vikenbetween from 1956 to 1966. It is an exceptional example of high-quality Norwegian mid-century modern carpentry combined with elegance and functionalism.
Crafted from beautiful and durable teak wood, the dressing table features slightly rounded
edges, and smoothly working tambour doors.
The essence of the piece is its mirror, composed of three parts: a central mirror flanked by
two adjustable side mirrors, allowing for multiple angles and a comprehensive view.
This rare vintage vanity has been fully restored and it is in a fantastic condition. The tambour door mechanism and the mirror’s hinges work smoothly. The wood has been cleaned and protected with professional compounds, and the mirror is intact.
